The Flight Stand 60 is calibrated according to ASTM standards: ASTM E74 with 169 points of push & pull for thrust, and ASTM E2428 with 102 points CCW for torque.
The Flight Stand 60 kit includes: test stand hardware, 1 engine mounting plate, 1 force measurement unit, 1 Flight Stand DAQ, 1 sync hub, 1 fuel flow sensor, 1 fiber optic RPM sensor, 4 thermocouple temperature sensors, 1 airspeed pressure sensor, complimentary software for system control and data acquisition, and a complimentary training course that covers stand setup and propulsion testing theory.
Engines, propellers, and starters are not included and must be sourced by the customer.
The Flight Stand 60 kit includes a motor mounting plate that is used to mount your motor on the Stand. The user marks and drills their motor's screw pattern on the plate. The plate can then be mounted on the Flight Stand Force Measurement Unit (FMU) using the dampers provided.
Our test stands are not designed for use in water.
